A little bit about me

The first digital experiences I crafted were for resolutions of 640x480 in 256 web safe colours. Even through the ‘Flash, chase the curser around the screen’ era I was focused on user centred design, and although I may not have won every battle on behalf of the user, I won a few awards instead. So a happy balance at the time. I’ve since been leading projects and teams of UX/UI designers.

In more recent years, my focus has been application design, game design and service design, mostly in blockchain gaming and financial services where a good user experience can have a huge effect on peoples decision making.

This has led to working in more agile and exciting ways to collaborate and rapidly achieve results. In this mix, I have also been heavily involved in requirement gathering with end users, business stakeholders and c-suites. I’ve done my fair share of workshop planning and facilitation as well as focus groups and user testing sessions.
