Transformation of a legacy Government service for Apprenticeship Assessors into a full service, online solution.
Requirement gathering
Working with User Researchers and Business Analysts to gather user requirements and to challenge the business requirements so that a streamlined clear solution to the problem could be designed.
User Stories and Journey
Creation of user journeys through the service to achieve to core goals and solve our identified user needs.
Interaction Design and Prototyping
Using the Government Design System I created various high fidelity semi functional prototypes to validate the teams thinking for the application process for new users and for the service design for existing users. This included conceptual work for a user dashboard where various data sets was aggregated in order to provide an informative and intuitive experience.
Opportunity Finder
An additional piece of work created to help inform End-Point assessors of the opportunities to assess other apprenticeship assessors. I focused on the user needs, to create a simple to use page showing the total opportunities, with the ability to dig deeper into relevant opportunities.
Data visualisation
Using the GDS pattern library I was able to add value to the user experience by visualising the most important data for the user. This was iteratively tested and validated with real users.
