The challenge of combining multiple legacy systems and processes into a new wealth management platform.
On a project of such scale, it is unrealistic to create page wireframes and designs for every page, step, state or instance. As the creative lead in a team of 5 UX and 2 UI designers I was responsible for establishing the core design patterns and principles, then ensuring these were implemented and adhered to.
With the complexities and range of financial products available through Old Mutual, there is no one size fits all process. We successfully implemented systems to allow for flexible progress and flows.
One of the main outputs for the project was an interactive pattern library documenting all the design and user experience principles.
